Trauma Informed Rest

Join us at  HD Counseling In Winter Park Florida

October 14th & 15th

Rest is revolution. It can restore, empower, heal, and cultivate joy.

This weekend offers you two incredible paths to unite in a supportive community. You can choose between the Somatic Experiencing and Wellness Track or the Wellness Track. Both experiences center around the transformative power of rest and mindfulness.

Which track is for Me?

For those seeking profound rest, the Wellness Track invites you to lay down your burdens and immerse yourself in rejuvenation. If you’re passionate about facilitating rest and somatic practices as a coach, the Somatic Experiencing track is your opportunity. This track includes insightful breakout sessions that empower you with the skills to guide others in their restorative journey.

Whichever path you embark upon, know that you’re taking a step towards revolutionizing your relationship with rest and well-being. Join us this weekend and let’s create a restful revolution together.

Provides PLUs

Join us for a transformative training that lays the foundation for healing and nervous system regulation through somatic practices. The impact of trauma is far-reaching, with 70% of adults in the U.S. having experienced traumatic events. Unresolved trauma can give rise to anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, and other health challenges.

Data underscores the significance of somatic practices in trauma recovery, often proving more impactful than talk therapy alone. Somatic practices contribute not only to healing but also to cultivating resilience in both body and mind.

Choose your path for this experience:

Somatic Experiencing Track: For those seeking to facilitate rest and somatic practices as coaches. Engage in insightful breakout sessions designed to equip you with the skills to guide others towards healing and regulation.

Wellness Track: Designed for those who yearn for profound rest and rejuvenation. Immerse yourself in the restorative power of somatic practices.

Key facets of this trauma-informed training include:

1. Exploring the intricate connection between trauma and the body, encompassing the influence of stress and trauma on the nervous system and the body’s physiological response to trauma.

2. Identifying indicators of trauma-related distress within the body, including hyperarousal, dissociation, and somatization – physical symptoms with no medical explanation.

3. Establishing a physically secure and nurturing environment that caters to sensory input and regulation.

Step into a weekend of profound learning and transformation. Elevate your practice and empower yourself to contribute to the healing journey. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to grow and evolve.
